It was not easy to spend this much $$$$ for a vacuum. My old Sears vacuum was still running, albeit the use of earplugs was a requirement. However it was time for an upgrade so I bit the bullet. Wow! What a terrific vacuum... it is so quiet I sometimes check the hose to make sure it is suckin'. I bought the basket for the top of the vacuum which is much handier than I thought it would be. AND, a much added bonus is that all those accessories that you would normally have to buy for $100 bucks or so are included with this vacuum thus bringing the price down to a more easily digested amount. And having the cart is great as it makes this thing so much more mobile. Those little wheels on a cheaper vacuum that stop rolling when the cord or debris gets caught underneath don't exist. And I have not yet had any problem with the auto switch that turns on the vacuum when my plugged in sander starts. Bite the bullet and get one..... you won't have any regrets.
